(More customer reviews)The Blackberry was dropped many times and the ring around the roller ball was busted up and would not hold the ball in any longer.Purchased this and was able to use the new ball and ring.In my case the tools were not really needed to take the ring off since it was broken but they cannot hurt if I need to do this again.
The ball does not give the same clicking feel when you press it to select something but it works great.
